Is an online rental agreement legally valid in India?
Yes. An agreement with e-stamp paper and Aadhaar-based e-signature is legally valid under the IT Act 2000 and is admissible as evidence in court.
What is the stamp duty for a rental agreement?
Stamp duty varies by state. For Bangalore it's 0.1% of annual rent + deposit, for Hyderabad it's flat ₹100–500, for Maharashtra it's 0.25% of the total rent. Our system calculates this automatically.
